Usually try to gather at the Registry Tent on Sat. at noon, don't believe there is a Club Tent this year..(Scott..?) We could always meet in front of the Grand Stand the same time....just a suggestion...

Nope, no tent. We haven't had the numbers for the last few years to justify the cost.

FWIW Chris and I will both be busy on Saturday at noon. Maybe we meet at 11 or so instead?

Well, the Budweiser girls used to make appearances, but it's been years since I last saw them there...

I just got back. There was no major rain, but it was cloudy for most of the day. Lots of late-model stuff. FE stuff gets harder to find every year and I didn't see any bargains at all.

This Q code really caught my eye! Does this car seem like the right shade of silver jade? I really like it but have seen so many different shades of the color. Still wondering how they stuffed the 295s in the rear....

Silver Jade is one of those colors that seems to come out a dozen different shades.  I think the reason for that is mostly that whoever mixes the paint doesn't follow the formula meticulously.  You don't have to be too careless to get a different shade.

As to the 295s, it appears they did it just the way everyone did it back in the day...you just keep raising the rear of the car (extra leaf, re-arch, shackles air-bags, air-shocks) until they don't rub anymore.  The later Mustangs weren't so bad...think of how high you'd have to raise that Fairlane sitting next to it!  And people did.  They looked like stink-bugs going down the road.

The green SCJ under the tent I'm pretty sure is Bill Collins.
He had it there for sale last year.

The CJ coupe is the one that was on eBay a few weeks ago, from Quebec.  Wish I had seen it.  I was in the Car Corral Saturday afternoon but didn't see it there then.  One of the answers on the eBay listing was possible delivery to Carlisle for the winning bidder but there wasn't a "winner" so maybe he just brought it to sell?

Also regret missing the photo op.  I should have volunteered to host this at our vendor space as we likely could have drafted some folks to get a bigger crowd.  Were several additional Forum members there.

I think I'm going to run the CJ down the track.  I need to get new numbers on the clutch and flywheel set up.  :)
