front fender cage nut
« on: May 24, 2018, 08:25:40 am »
I need help. I am attaching the 1968  front fender at the lower rear where it requires a special cage nut in the rocker. I bought them at NPD and pkg. says supplied by Scott Drake. I pushed it in but does not seem to be rigid enough to stay in place when I tighten the bolt.
I found these in the grille panel also and struggled keeping it secure.     Thanks

OK - I finally found an internet instruction--pretty simple once you know how to insert it.
   Thanks
