Yeah, that’s a great story.
I’m working on my own story with a guy and his early Shelby in similar circumstances. Here’s hoping it has a similar ending

Cool story, indeed. It is a well known fact that Don Yenko was the Carroll Shelby of the Chevrolet world. In my opinion, Yenko was underrated in his motor sport achievements.

So I start watching AND SEE the SW tach (and think OH GOD) !!     (20 mins latter Doug says "my very prized possession, the SW pedestal tach!"     And you thought 65 GT350 oil gauges were expensive!
