Chris, Jim and Tout...
« on: March 28, 2009, 03:36:14 pm »
Or anyone else who is interested in doing a little Drag Racing at Maple Grove on 4/23 and 4/24.  We are trying to nail down a final car count to rent Maple Grove's facility.  Don't worry about your car not fitting into the class, it will! Just come out and have a good time.  Here is a link to the info and pricing.

Hope to see some of you guys there!

Thanks,
Mike

Tony..its a good 1hr 30 mins across the turnpike(east) to Maple Grove from Carlisle.  probably closer for you to go up 95 and go west on the turnpike?

Here is a link to some action shots taken by a professional track photographer.  Warning: all makes!

http://www.djvphotos.com/Category.aspx?ID=MAPLE%20GROVE_4_24_09

I had trouble hooking up and my 60ft's were pretty crappy.  It was a beautiful day, but I did hear that the air quality was not as good as you would expect for April.  12.20's for me and I was off 1 mph from my usual 119mph.  Very laid back atmosphere, as many passes as you could stand and the track staff was really great.  Although, I did hear some guys say that tech was really slow.

Chris,
How was Mexico?  Hope you did'nt pick up any Flu!
