I was thinking of going if the dates work out, have not been to that show for 3-4 years. Weather is always an issue.

Ed is good man!  If I need help, he is in the top two of knowledge.  Bob Perkins is of course the other. It will be good to see him and meet another Forum member.  I hope your car makes it to the show. I made note of your phone number. Thanks!  Armond

I have a question......As we know, some of us tweek our cars the way we like them because we like to drive them but if entering in a "driver" class, is there an amount of bolt on modifications one can make on their car and not get dinged???

I don't know the answer to that one.  I am sure you can find those rules at the MCA web sight.

The occassional driver class is for you.  They do not judge for correctness, just how clean it is.  They do judge the undercarriage, but it is not expected to be spotless.
In a way it is actually a more difficult class to win a trophy in.  In concour you compete on a point system and you can have multiple Gold, Silver, Bronze winners in a class.  In occassional driver you compete against the other entrants in the class and though there may be ties, not all the cars may place.

69Grand....thanks!  I just don't have enough time to put the car back to factory specs at this time and I was also thinking of entering it in the occ. driver class.
