Well I found out what my unidentified upper end rattle was. After dropping the Pan to change the rear main seal I looked up to the Cam jornals & saw part of the #3 cam bearing sticking out and a bunch of bearing material in the oil pickup screen.Must have all started 3 years ago when the pressure relief valve stuck in my oil pump & I lost all the oil past the oil filter on my way to work.Thought I dodged any damage, must have starved the cam bearings just long enough to set one up for failure.looks like I'll be driving the 07' Shelby up this year again instead of the Mach..gotta call Carlise & switch the registration...

I'll look for everyone at their cars & the Tent..i'll be parked with Team shelby now.......Chris

Now looks like 0% chance of bringing the car this year.... Started installing the windshield trim, got two pieces on and realized that I need to move the one Clip I put in down a little bit... Went and bought a trim removal tool and proceeded to CRACK the EFFING WINDSHIELD... I could almost cry... Time to go to a party and drink my pain away. Good thing there will be lots of beer there. I will more than likely be at carlise one day now just to see if I can get some spare parts in case I ever need them...

Won't be the only car without a broken windshild !   You were going to drive it anyway -so when you get a broken windshield on PA turnpike you won't care !!

Mark
Call Greg Stillwell have him bring a NOS Ford Carlite to Carlisle you can install it there.

Yeah I hear you but if I can't fix it, the crack is only 3 inches long, I'll end up buying a new windshield there and bring it home...

Randy Ream will have 10 copies of the 2010 registry book at Carlisle.  Let me know if you're interested in buying a copy while you're at the show and I'll hook you up with him to hold your reservation.

Here's where the registry tent will be: look for location "V" (circled in red) in the attached picture.  It's not too far from where we were last year.

That's not a bad area.  Right in the thick of things.  I like it.

Hopefully more people will stop by the Tent this year. I felt like the Maytag repairman last year!!

I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Spot 22 in the car corral.

Under cover, one row from the bottom.

Chris: I'll have your center section with me.....

Saturday looks like the day for me.  12 noon at the tent maybe?  Of course, people can choose to meet at the tent any time they want.

I think you guys should all come down to the swap area and help sell parts !  K45

Mark
P.S.  Or "help yourself to some parts"  -IF I'm up at the 428CJ tent !
