Our Cobra Jet has been invited to the Louisville Concours d' Elegance at Churchill Downs!  We've had a lot of thrills showing our CJ since 2006 but I admit this one tops the list just to be invited.  http://www.concourslouisville.com/index.htm

Your car is certainly worthy - congrats!  This is the one I saw at Waldorf (and the 2008 Cobra Jet Reunion), right?

Thanks very much. They told me that cars can't take the field until 9:00am after the horses morning exercise. I'll post the pictures as soon as I get home.

Ben's right that's me Scott.

Thank you all again for your support and I'll be watching where I step.

Ben say hi to John for me. I too missed you at Waldorf. I had a number of people asking me if I was Ben Cole when I was unloading.

Rick, are you relation to the late Freddie Frye of Maryland who was an avid drag racer and transmission guy?

Rick,
I'm surprised that I have not run into you at one of the shows around New England. Good luck in Louisville and I hope to see your car one day.

Sorry John no relation to Freddie Frye. All my relatives were from New England.

Chris, we meet once back in 2006 at the MCA Sturbridge Show.

Back from the Concours. Our Cobra Jet took 2nd place in class. There where 8 great muscle cars in class. First place went to a
newly restored 70 Boss 429 and 3rd place went to a 69 Yanko Camaro. Pictures to come.

Big congratulations! If your Concours D' Elegance was anything like the one we used to have here in Minnesota, it was about the top honor that could be had as it was by invitation only. To take 2nd place in class at that kind of show is no small thing. Seems you had plenty of good company, as well! Fine Work!!
