Where do I start? On Friday the  Tach quit on the starting line guessed at RPM and came out soft then in third felt clutch slipping. Also thought I felt misfire in third but was sure about the clutch slipping in high. Took the car out that night in the parking lot of the hotel and added counterweight to the clutch, replaced the tach and line lock fuse. Saturday Tach quit again launched the car at a guess engine bogged and then side stepped the clutch car launched good and started missing in third and then shut off. Coasted and looked under the car with no leaks and no fuel pump with key on. Found blown fuse in original fuse box. At that time I decided to get rid of twisted original connections. I soldiered all connections and supplied dedicated source from the MSD. Sunday next run  Tach good , Staged and watched the tree. Pro tree and dumped the clutch with the low RPM set at 4200 but forgot to let go of the button on the shifter shaft. HA HA.. Nerves? when I let the trigger go it launched good but misfire in to third. so on  the next pass I came out without the button and held it at 4200 and the car hooked great , went straight but runs out of fuel in third. I will make a new fuel sending unit pickup 1/2 inch supply and a big pump regulated at the cool can.
In All we had a great time. Found two people that knew who Phil Glass was and said they might have photo's of the car.drove back Monday after dropping my wife off at the airport and back at work this morning. everyone we met out there were very receptive and helpfull.

That is great.  I love the fact that you are making some passes with the car.  I realize that you were'nt able to make a full pass, but what kind of sixty foot times are you turning?

Mike, For the first time out with the car. I have slips from 1.56 and 1.61, 1.92. Also 7.23  1/8, 7.31  1/8.. I think I  am coasting before the 1/8 mile mark.? Need to come out higher RPM. But fuel delivery needs fixed first.

Danny, She would not have made it and I might not be married anymore if she had to drive with us the whole way... LOL . You know what that means, I would only have half as many cars. :D.. I tell her we are moving to Australia where she can still drive from the right side.  All ready working on the fuel system..

Saw David's car at the Daytona Turkey Rod Run last week. That car just sounded like it wanted to move. Definitely an attention getter. Awesome find David, well worth the time & effort.

Don, Wish you would have stopped me. Been nice to meet some more forum  members. Was it in the morning going in or later going home? The Green KR500 was my wife following me in Greenie.

It was in the afternoon, when you were leaving. I wish I saw the car on the show field, maybe the spring show. The KR500 looked like a nice car also.
