Carlisle 2012 All Ford Nationals
« on: March 31, 2012, 01:01:08 pm »
Full details here:

http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/events/ford-nationals/

We qualify for a free club tent this year because we apparently had at least 25 people registered for last year's event. Pre-register for "gate-n-go" before April 30th if you'd like to make getting on to the show field a little easier. Here's a link:

http://store.carlisleevents.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=24

Note this statement: "If you belong to a club, enter the full club name." You can find "MUSTANG 428 COBRA JET REGISTRY" on the drop-down list of clubs. Please be sure to select the registry as your club so that we get credit for your registration and we can get next year's tent for free, too.

Registered using the registry as Club. Late decision. Bringing the 1968 GT500KR. At least it's a CJ. Bringing the extra 70 parts. See you there.

I was going to offer you can sell your items in our spot (many swap people never go to the show field)
BUT then again  you have a captive 428 bunch there !

I would like to try and buy that harness - OF OTHERS will chime in on if it can be used in a 1969 car !
Let me know if it is the full dash harness and the front one too!   (basically both parts of the green plug)

Mark
P.S. IF they are really different for the carb seleniod or AC ect etc - I guess I can't use it!

George was selling it for a member !   I'm only kidding about "returning it" - we get that all the time!
(Guys buy a $8 light bulb and say "I couldn't make it work") LOL

The weather report for Friday looks pretty dismal: rain in the morning and potentially severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. Saturday looks much better. If that holds up I'll be coming on Saturday instead of Friday.

I'm in the black l/s Mustang shirt in Friday's picture and the white t-shirt with blue jeans on Saturday.  I don't know them all; so I'll wait and see if there are other introductions before I list the ones I do know.

And the guy behind you is David -that brought me a 4 Speed harness to Carlisle !   BIG THANKS - guess I have no excuse NOT to disassemble my car and install the tach.   Thanks to David - thanks to all for your interest and fun in PA.

There was a big gathering at booth K45/46 at noon on Friday - before this photo.  (Missing only an NOS cap for a master cylinder) haha
