Tax #. Just fill out the Pa Sales Tax/ Transient Vendor License, available on carsatcarlisle site. No cost to apply for license. I understand that PA officials will be checking vendors as per Carlisle girls. Then need to collect 6% PA sales tax. Lot of Bull just to sell a few old parts, but such is life. I never sell enough to even pay for my spots, but the fun and hanging out is worth it. Even see some cool cars. Wonder how much tax on free beer?

I still haven't been able to confirm anything about a club tent. There's no application form on the web site this year, so I've left multiple messages by phone and email. None have been returned. If we end up without a tent it won't be for lack of trying.

I finally got a call from the event manager today. I sent in the reservation form and the $175 (paid from the donations provided by members) payment for a tent. Hopefully we're now good to go!

I don't have a confirmed location, but I asked for it to be pitched next to the 1970 Mach 1 show class where I'll have my car.

I plan on attending; haven't decided what days yet.  I usually am there from open to close, but may miss a day this year.

I'll be there with a few non CJ cars. Currently don't have one, but will again.

Looking forward to it and meeting some new folks.

I plan on making the trip to Carlisle in a couple of weeks. I have never been so I'm all jacked up about it. Besides meeting with as many forum members as possible, I will be looking for parts for my 68.5 restoration and I'm interested in knowing what 68/68.5 related items some of you will be bringing to sell or trade so I can look you up.

Thanks
Gary

Gary you'll be shocked by the amount of parts and cars you'll see. Its a Ford lovers playground! I suggest you start a thread in the parts wanted section of what you are looking for that way they can bring what you need. Most vendors bring a ton of stuff but lots is left at home unless they know you are looking for it.
