Found: Build sheet for 9T02R170518

Hey people,

I have acquired an original build sheet for a 69 R-code with the VIN 9T02R170518. I believe the car was sold to a Paul in Australia about 3 years ago from the states. I would really like the owner to have the build sheet so that it is with the car again...it is too much history to lose!

If you know who it might be or have any info please let me know.

No one has been able to identify the current owner. If you have the build sheet, could you possibly share the belt codes that are covered by folds in the eBay auction?

I hadn't seen that particular thread. I found out about the whole situation from a thread jiffy posted elsewhere. We have a lot of people in Australia looking for the car so hopefully we find it. Even if we don't find them right now, I'm sure that this owner or the next will google their vin and find that I am holding on to this for them.

Thought i would close out this post by saying a big thank you to Forsight and Scott for returning the biuld doc to the cars new owner 5 years after this post was first posted. Its a truely amazing story and act of kindness.

Excellent - Greg, did you get the car from a guy called Paul (everyone calls him Sam) in Rowville?

There's a good chance I saw that car - was it a repainted special paint car, Black Jade or Indian Fire w/white interior (although I think those last two were CJ's rather than SCJ's)?

Hi Jiffy,

Not the same car. This car has not seen the light of day for 8 years, came into Australia, put in a barn and never touch. The car is appears original with original paint. Black jade with black interior.
