yes you mean the black one but I have 3 cars from here going already & no big transporters in the area  BUT that gives me an idea & wonder if we would be better off hiring a transporter rig since there are  7 cars within 80 miles of me & another 120 miles from me going would we be better off going that route but then the owner still have to get there somehow :)
I'll fly out & drive the 71' out for you if you run out of options !!! :D

sounds good but who will pay for the gas as its a Y-code 4;11 Detroit locker scj 4-speed & no P/S & black /black which means hot/hot  going south without a/c.

Do any of you 428 guys belong to the 429 mustang site forum that can put a post about getting a 71 429 mustang to the 50th as we are close to 40 rare cars but still need a 71 429 to make the group complete & a 68 1/2 ragtop would be nice as the one I thought was coming ended up being a 69 cj ragtop instead but it is also coming along with the 70 scj ragtop.

Surely there is a mustang club in Dallas area any contacts?   We have a 69 & 70 drag pack loaded ragtops for the group (you will never see that again) & a 71 429 ragtop in the works coming & if we can get a 68 1/2 cj ragtop there  It will be the first & last time you will see all 4 years cj ragtops in 1 group & history will be made!!

We only have contact information for a handful of the 1968 1/2 convertibles.

I'll send an email to them & let you know if any of them are interested.

I got a 71 429cj convertible I amworking on BUT the 68 is the car I am having trouble finalizing as the deadline is march 15th & we don't want to quit now after coming this far  after getting 50 RARE performance muscle cars & having 1 of each example of which has never been done & will never happen again.  I know of some 68s but they are on west coast or in Canada & an OO red car in Canada but original owner is in his 80s & don't think he can make the trip & 2 in western Canada (long trip).  Chris do you know of a red one in VA.that a guy named cavenough bought at auction years ago as I was told & surely their is one in east somewhere or some owner who would like to make history as we want to photo all the cj ragtops together in 1 photo.

As I said, we only have a few registrations with complete contact information and more than half of those are in the western half of the country.

I sent out emails to the ones I have addresses for last night. No response so far.

1968 1/2 convertible owner & Registry member Bill U. is interested in attending.

We just have to figure out how to get his car registered for the show
