Hood stripe installation
« on: March 12, 2018, 07:47:16 pm »
About to install the hood graphics on a CJ 69 Cougar. My question is, Is it best to use the soap/water method, or free style? I'd very much appreciate hearing from those who have actually done this application.

Thanks in advance,

I had real good luck with the soapy water technique.

My friend, now retired, owned a body shop for 30+ years. I helped him several times to apply the "Screaming Chicken" decal on the hoods of Firebird Trans Ams. He always used the soapy water technique and I never saw a miscue. He even applied these for his competitors on occasion. Good luck.   Dave R.
