Stanley Cup Finals

Go Caps! #ALLCAPS

Yesterday I had a chance to be at the very first Stanley Cup finals victory at home for the Washington Capitals. Final score was 3-1, and the only goal Holtby gave up was one in which he should have gotten an assist for the Knights! Oh, well, it's still a win! Two more and the Cup somes to DC after YEARS of frustration!

Having grown up in the suburbs of Washington, DC in the 1970s-1980s, I really hope the Caps can get it done.  I remember going to home games at the old Capital Centre in Largo, MD back in the day.  I've been living in New England most of my adult life but will always be a fan of DC sports teams!

It sure was! The whole city is embracing this playoff run. Saturday's game included a huge multi-block party around the Capital One Arena before the game started, and screens were set up outside so people could watch. The arena has been open and packed for free viewing parties during the away games, too. I just hope they can finish it out.

I thought that the Bruins would do better than they did but it wasn't to be...
It'd be too easy for the Knights to win their first year out so Go Caps!

That was crazy when the game clock stopped with the Knights in the Caps zone down one with 2 minutes left !!!!

That was great when Ovechkin said "Grab some beers...grab some whatever and celebrate" lmfao

Congratulations to the Washington Capitals after 44 yrs

Las Vegas can't say that they didn't get a fair chance...…

That minute and a half seemed to go on for at least 2 minutes.
