For those of you who were not able to attend , you missed a great one! How good? I was SO busy , I never saw a car go down the track. I met LOTS of people ( priceless) and shared great times with many. Thanks to everyone.

I would like to be the first to congratulate Danny Truitt for having the imagination and the desire to make it happen.

Thank you, Roger!  I will admit I planted the seed and watered it for the past 18 months, but I would be remiss not to include all the others that worked so hard to make this happen.  It was truly a TEAM effort and far exceeded even my imagination.

The participants made the show by bringing the hardware and eye candy for all us of to enjoy.  I was over joyed to see the Torinos, Cyclones, Cobras, Cougars, 351CJ's and 429CJ's!  It was incredible to see all the vintage iron running down the track...four (4) 135 cars still running the 1/4 mile!  The late model CJ's were incredible and made the show all that much more exciting.

What a show!  Thanks everyone!

Glad to come and meet so many people from the site. I had the privilege of getting my Tasca sold car parked in between Tasca royalty. The race car and Street Bertha. The show and race was a first Class Act!

That was a hell of a 1-2-3 and I appreciated the passion, you have a beautiful car and I enjoyed visiting with you and seeing your notebook full of documentation and thanks for having my dad give the autograph he really enjoyed that. Also enjoyed the flashlight inspection of the GT500KR Friday night at the dinner, impressed with the knowledge, thanks.

Too bad it doesn't include the soundtrack of the cars being backed in!  :)

Thanks for everyone's photos and commentary.  I'm sure everyone who wasn't able to be there appreciates it.

Not that I have any knowledge on this. I'm quick to guess that the picture of the 135 cars might just be the largest gathering of them that has ever happened. Just thinking here, that sure is a lot of 428CJ history in one picture, at one place & time.

There were 12 135 cars there, 5 were racing.  Three missed the photo shoot as we were unable to get word to them or they were preparing for the next round of racing.

If I am not mistaken it was the same number of cars we had at the 40th, although many were different from the 40th.
