Best adhesive
« on: January 11, 2019, 09:33:45 pm »
I use adhesives in many projects. I know a case where an engine block was repaired with JB WELD Epoxy after cracking from freezing (no antifreeze).  It is very strong and will withstand 550 DegF.
Here is a neat video comparing several adhesives.

Most of us have anything into a water passage stitch welded. However, I have actually repaired a "windowed" block with JB Weld before.  I would imagine the cured consistency isn't suitable with this product. I doubt it dries hard and rigid.
