« on: February 14, 2019, 06:39:00 pm »
I've got a couple of original Ford transmission kickdown levers that I need help pricing.  Any input is appreciated.

I don't know what either of them are. But I can tell you for sure neither one fits 67 - 70 C6 in a Mustang or Cougar.

There are three different levers used from 1967 - 70. Yours might be a 1970. It for sure won’t fit 1967 - 1968.

Definitely not a 70, the 70's have a much larger offset to clear the reverse lock-out rod.  It looks to me to be very similar to the 69 shown on the first link in my previous post.  Do you have any photos showing a 69 lever other than those shown on this forum?  I can believe it might be different than the 67 - 68; I was going off the photo from one of the Mustang parts suppliers.

Update:  I sent photos and dimensions to "kickdown rods galore and more" along with the question:

"If you don’t mind taking a look, here is the one I have.  Center to center is approximately 3.125.  I was told it was an original 69 428 C-6, what is your opinion?"

His reply: "Yup. That’s what it is for sure. Works on all 69 C-6 apps."
