My Thanks to 428cobrajet.org for creating this website!  I sold my 1969 SCJ in 1979 in need of cash. What was I thinking! {According to the title, I was the 10th owner} If you know its whereabouts, contact me and I can tell you some of the history of it , along with some special aspects of the car.  Regards - Mr. Fixir-Upper

wow - 10 owners in 10 years - 11 if you count the guy you sold it to!!

I wonder if it was insurance, gas or gearset that was the final nail for all those owners?

Definitely one of the three. It was the during the later 1970's gas crisis. I said it then and I'll say it now - "I am not paying $1.00 for a gallon of gas!!" So the cobra went and I kept the '70 Grabber cause it had a 302 and economy gearset. Still have the Grabber, but miss the Cobra!
