SCJ Oil Cooler Lines
« on: May 24, 2019, 08:59:38 pm »
Need to replace the upper line and reading several posts on how hard they are to come by.  Is there a way that the hose only can be replaced professionally? If not, where can I find a replacement?
Thanks!
Scott

Short answer is no.  Longer answer is still no.  Last time I had my cooler and hoses out of the car I took the hoses to a Professional hydraulic hose repair specialty shop.  The diagnosis was that it would be to difficult to ' uncrimp the fitting ' surrounding the hose.  They feared the fitting would be to destroyed to effect another leak proof crimp.  You can shop around and you may find a tech that can do it.  Heavy equipment hydraulic hose repair is your best bet.   The after market seems to be on again off again for the production and sales ?  Brian

I bought a beautiful set of reproduction oil cooler hoses for my Boss 302 Cougar Super Drag Pak car.  Hard to believe they are not available for an SCJ too???

Dont know what they are worth as i never bought a set of repo oil lines only originals.  They were only on this show car for about 50 miles or so would 275 sound about right?
